NEW DATE: eceee 2014 Industrial Summer Study to be held 2–5 June 2014

(0-nothing, 28 Jun 2013) A new date has been set for the next eceee Industrial Summer Study. The conference will be held 2–5 June 2014 at Papendal Hotel and Conference Centre in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

The 2012 Industrial Summer Study was the first ever eceee event with a focus solely on energy-use in industry. The conference is regarded as a big success and it attracted over 200 participants. About 100 peer-review papers on industrial energy efficiency were presented, a large number of informal sessions were held and several of eceee's partners set up solutions workshops.

"Given the very positive feedback from participants, we have decided to make this industrial Summer Study an institution just like our traditional summer studies," says Nils Borg, eceee's Executive Director. "We were pleased with the attendance. The turn out was very good and this is proof that industrial energy efficiency is a subject that deserves its own conference where eceee-type of quality assurance is well appreciated."

eceee has arranged its traditional Summer Study since 1993. At the core of the event are peer-reviewed papers which serve to build up eceee's base of evidance-based knoweldge, information and analysis.

Call for papers will be issued in late August 2013. This year, eceee will allow those submitting abstracts to choose if they want to have their paper to go through a full peer-review process or if they just want to write a short paper to support their presentation.
